Move Every Day Movement Philosophy

🧘‍♀️We’re made to move

Our spines were made to move.

But your probably sitting down reading this.

We’re so use to sitting down whether we’re:

That we don’t even realize it!

“But have you have considered how much time in addition to the work day that you sit - commuting, drinking coffee, eating meals, watching tv/movies?”

I have and guess what conclusion I came to?

We sit A LOT, and it’s something we call…

🪑Chronic sitting

Move Every Day defines chronic sitting as:

*pro-longed sitting (when you're sitting for more than 2 hours) several days a week.

Which is pretty much everyone due to modern living, myself included!

“What, you don’t think I like bingeing shows? Or enjoy my seated existence?”

🔍There's a ton of research about why movement is good for us - some benefits are…

  • sleeping better at night

  • happier because we're releasing serotonin

  • longevity

  • more focused and productive

  • lowering blood sugar

  • keeping disease at bay

✅Our goal

Move Every Day is here to encourage you to move more in your daily life and on your terms.

  • Maybe you're just getting back into a routine

  • Maybe you're looking to get more movement snack breaks into your work day

  • Maybe you already have a work out schedule but are looking to add something to your morning routine

Whatever it is… we want to encourage you to move smarter so you can maintain what you have and live longer.

So what’s our philosophy?

“the more you move, the better you feel”
