In 16 short days the football season starts.

And your girls fantasy team (#me&mahomies) is finally gonna win her family league this year.

But it’ll come at a cost…

54 hours and 24 minutes of sitting to be exact.

You see the average length of a football game is 3 hours and 12 minutes.

And if I watch all 17 regular season games of ONLY my favorite team (it’s not Kansas City btw) this is how long I'm sitting for...

In 54 hours and 24 minutes, I could:

  • Drive from Vancouver, Canada to Key West, Florida

  • Tack on an additional 6 days of sitting behind my desk

  • Watch Wolf of Wall Street 18 times

Don’t get me wrong, that's alotta hours on top of sitting most days…

…which doesn’t include all of the other things we do sitting - eating, reading, watching your kiddos soccer games or tv, etc.

The key is to move often!

So whether you're at the bar on Sunday, hanging out with friends, or anxiously waiting for the ESPN fantasy app to update your score -

Be sure to at least take 2 minutes to take care of your body in between all the commercial breaks, when the ball isn't in play. (Those are some crazy stats for another day.)
